Rumble at the Rock

Rock Valley College Athletics will be hosting the District 205 “Rumble at the Rock” basketball event on Saturday, February 15. The day will feature four exciting basketball games, including two NIC-10 varsity boys high school showdowns as well as the nationally ranked RVC women’s and men’s basketball teams.

 

There are 250 tickets available for this event for RVC students, staff, and faculty to purchase. Tickets are just $6 for adults or $4 for RVC students with a student id. To purchase tickets in advance (recommended), please stop by the Athletics office in the PEC and see DA Huff.

 

 

Noon - Rockford East High School vs. Rockford Auburn High School (varsity boys).  Halftime will feature a “Knockout” shooting competition with administrators from all four of the day’s participating NIC-10 schools.

 

2:00 p.m. - RVC Women (NJCAA #1 ranked) vs. Madison College. Halftime will feature a 3-point contest with a player from each of the day’s participating NIC-10 schools.

 

4:00 p.m. - Rockford Guilford vs. Rockford Jefferson (varsity boys). Halftime will feature a cheer competition between teams from each of the day’s participating NIC-10 schools.

 

6:00 p.m. - RVC Men (NJCAA #5 ranked) vs. Madison College
