Tech Connect Session Registration

The Tech Connect Session is an introduction to learning and understanding how to navigate within the RVC Self Service and RVC Eagle Learning Management Systems. This session is highly recommended for new students and only required for students currently enrolled in a STU 100 course.

At a Tech Connect session you will learn the following:

  • Self Service (30 minutes)
    • Manage your waitlist
    • Making or setting up payments
    • Access Financial Aid status
    • Understand how to register for classes
    • How to enter classes into Student Planning
    • View your Program Evaluation

  • Eagle Learning Management System (30 minutes)
    • Login
    • Navigation
    • Assignments, Discussions, quizzes
    • Communication with Faculty
    • Difference between RVC email and EAGLE email

To attend a Tech Connect Session, you must pre-register below. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Location of the session will be disclosed once you pre-register. The session is an hour long. You must check in at least 15-20 minutes prior to the session. For example, if the session is scheduled for 3pm. It will start promptly at 3pm. No students will be admitted once the session has started. If you are late, you will be asked to re-register for a different session. Also, in order to attend a session, you must have a class schedule and be currently enrolled as a student.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are taking this session to meet the STU 100 activity class requirement, you will receive an email confirming that you have attended this course. Please print this confirmation email and bring it to your STU 100 instructor to receive your class points for attending the session. The deadline of completing this class activity is assigned by your instructor. The First Year Experience Office does not know the deadline of when this class activity is due. Please connect with your instructor for that information.
